## What Buffer does well

- On the free plan you can manage three social accounts, with ten scheduled posts per account and no time limit.
- With one or two accounts, the $6 per-account monthly fee is a good deal.
- The social inbox lets you follow comments and replies in one place. Posty has no inbox like that.
- The Chrome extension lets you save content while you browse. Posty has no browser extension.
- The public API and MCP server are available on every plan, including free. AI agents can drive Buffer's calendar with them directly.

## When should you pick Buffer instead?

For one or two social accounts Buffer can be cheaper, and for three accounts there is the unlimited-time free plan. It is also the better pick if you need a social inbox or a Chrome extension. With more accounts, recurring posts or more involved automation, it is worth considering Posty too.

## Why switch to Posty?

- **Fixed plan price.** Pro manages ten social accounts for 8 990 Ft a month. At Buffer, ten accounts cost about $60 a month, because you pay per account.
- **More automation.** Recurring posts and post sets mean you do not have to type every slot by hand. RSS auto-post turns new content into a post. Buffer's RSS feed is only for gathering ideas.
