# Műveletek egy bejegyzésen

## Actions

In the calendar and post list, icons appear when you hover over a post.

| Icon | What it does | Affects the platform? |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `Preview` | Opens the post's public preview page in a new tab. | No |
| `Statistics` | Platform metrics for the published post and clicks on its short links. | No |
| `Edit` | Opens the full editor with the same content. | Only if you choose to republish it |
| `Duplicate` | A copy of the post opens in Studio. | No |
| `Delete` | Removes the post from the calendar for every channel. | No |

## Delete

Deleting a post removes it from Posty, not from the platform

If the post has not been published yet, deleting it prevents publication. If it **has already been published**, it stays on the platform. To remove it there, delete it directly on the platform. Only its record is removed from Posty.

When you delete a post, you delete the entire [group](https://posty.hu/en/docs/concepts): if it was published to four channels, it disappears from all four.

## Statistics

The chart icon opens the post's statistics for a period of 7, 30, or 90 days. If the platform has not provided any metrics yet, we let you know instead of displaying zeros.

## Link post

Sometimes a post is published, but the platform does not return an ID we can use to find it later. In that case, you see the `Link post` window instead of statistics. It lists the account's most recent posts so you can select the right one.

You can do the same from the API with the [Record platform ID](https://posty.hu/en/docs/api/endpoints/platform-azonosito) endpoint.

## Duplicate

Duplicating a post opens a copy in Studio for you to edit. The copy has not been saved yet: it won't appear in the calendar until you save it.

- Use it when you want to reuse a post that performed well, with different text or on different channels.
- If you want to publish the same post regularly, use [repeat](https://posty.hu/en/docs/studio/scheduling) instead.
