# Az első bejegyzés tizenöt perc alatt

Regisztráció, az első csatorna bekötése, az első ütemezett bejegyzés. A leggyorsabb út odáig, hogy valami tényleg kimenjen.

## 1. Registration

You sign up at [posty.hu/regisztracio](https://posty.hu/regisztracio) with an email address and password, or with a Google account. Signing up is free: no sales call, no demo request, no waitlist.

One email address, one sign-in method

If you sign up with an email address and password, then later sign in with Google using the same address, two separate accounts are created, and the channels from the first one won't be in the second. Always sign in with the method you signed up with.

## 2. Activation

After you sign up with email, we send an activation email. Click the link in it to activate your account, and we take you straight to your calendar. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then use the `Resend Activation Email` button.

There is no activation step when you use a Google account, because Google has already verified your email address.

## 3. Connecting the first channel

   Open the channel picker
   
   After you first sign in, this is the first step of the intro. Later, the `Add channel` button in the `Channels` menu takes you to the same place.

   Choose the platform
   
   Click the platform's icon. The platform's own window opens, and you sign in with your own credentials.

   Grant access
   
   This is where you allow us to post on your behalf. We don't see your password and we don't store it.

   Choose which page or account to connect
   
   If you have more than one page or channel on the platform, you pick from a list after you return.

This step can't be done from the API

Social platforms ask a person for consent before an app can post on their behalf. Neither the API, nor the command-line tool, nor an AI agent can connect a channel for you. Details are on the [Connecting a channel](https://posty.hu/en/docs/channels) page.

## 4. The first post

   Open Studio
   
   Use the `New post` button in the left menu, or click an empty time slot in the calendar. In the latter case, the time is already filled in.

   Select the channels
   
   At the top of the editor. You can send the same text to more than one channel.

   Write the text
   
   The shared text is the same on every selected channel. If you want a channel to say something different, you can give it its own text. The [Shared and channel-specific content](https://posty.hu/en/docs/studio/per-channel) page covers this.

   Set a time
   
   In the date picker. The time is shown in your own time zone.

   Add it to the calendar
   
   With the `Add to calendar` button. The post appears in the calendar, and we publish it at the minute you set.

## 5. Check

For the first post, wait until it publishes, then look at the calendar to see if it turned green, Published. If it failed, the error message is on the post. The [Troubleshooting](https://posty.hu/en/docs/troubleshooting) page lists the most common causes.

## What comes next
