## How long it lasts

Every plan starts with a 7\-day free trial. During the trial, you get everything included in your chosen plan, just as you would with a paid subscription.

## Why we ask for a card

0 Ft due today

We ask for a card to start the trial because checkout creates a Stripe subscription, which requires a payment method up front. During the trial, we **won't charge you**: 0 Ft is due today, and you can cancel at any time before the trial ends.

Stripe handles your card details, so we never receive them. You can sign up and explore the app without a card, but you need a plan to publish or schedule posts.

## What's included

Your trial includes everything in your chosen plan: the same number of channels, the same number of users, and the same tools. The table on the [Plans and limits](https://posty.hu/en/docs/plans) page shows what each plan includes.

Posts you schedule during the trial still go out after the trial, as long as the subscription continues.

## When it ends

1. 1
   
   On the last day of the trial
   
   Stripe charges the card you provided for your chosen plan, and your paid subscription begins.
2. 2
   
   If the charge fails
   
   We notify you and give you a few days to update your payment method. Posts still go out during that time.
3. 3
   
   If the grace period ends
   
   We suspend your subscription and disable your channels. Your data stays intact, and everything can be reactivated once you pay. See the [Downgrade and cancellation](https://posty.hu/en/docs/plans/cancel) page.

## Canceling during the trial

- You can cancel at any time from the **Billing** page under the profile button. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged.
- After you cancel, you'll still have access until the trial ends. After that, publishing and scheduling stop.
- Canceling does not delete your account or data. To delete everything, you can start the process from the [Settings](https://posty.hu/en/docs/settings) page.
