MCP-szerver AI-ügynököknek
Mire jó, melyik címre csatlakozik a kliensed, milyen kulcs kell hozzá, és mit lát az ügynököd.
What is MCP?
MCP is a standard that lets an AI assistant use external tools. On our MCP server, you can see the same channels and schedule posts in the same calendar as in the app.
We don't generate text or images: your model writes the post, and we schedule it. The AI generation page explains this in more detail.
The two endpoints
https://api.posty.hu/mcp. The key goes in the Authorization header with the Bearer prefix.https://api.posty.hu/mcp-oauth. The client completes the OAuth flow without storing a key.Without credentials, we return a 401 and use the WWW-Authenticate header to tell you where to request authorization. This is the first step in the standard MCP flow. You can still read the tool list from the manifest.
Which key you need
- For chat clients: an MCP key from the Settings → Developers page that starts with
psty_mcp_…. - For apps: an OAuth access token starting with
pos_…. It expires, can be refreshed, and is valid only for the resource it was issued for.
We deliberately reject REST keys that start with psty_ but do not have the MCP prefix, and explain why. This is the most common reason a client cannot connect.
The Developer settings page explains how to create a key. MCP is available on the same plans as the API.
What your agent sees
Ten tools, three of which write. The agent can view your calendar, list your channels, and create a preview, a draft, or a scheduled post.
See the Tool reference for the full list.
What it can't do
- Connect a channel. The platform requires a person to give consent.
- Delete a published post. The delete tool only works on unpublished posts and rejects anything already live.
- Do more than its key allows. If you only want it to create drafts, give it permission to do just that. See the Authentication page.
