Can I schedule Instagram posts with Posty?
Yes. You connect your Instagram account, put the post together with an image or video, pick a time, and Posty publishes it on its own through Instagram's official API. Posts, carousels, Reels and Stories can all be scheduled.
How do I schedule a post to an Instagram business account?
You need a business or creator account. Switching is free, and takes a few minutes. Then in Posty you connect the account, directly with Instagram login or through your Facebook Page, put the post together in the editor, and schedule it in the calendar.
Can I schedule Reels, Stories and carousels?
Yes, all three. Besides regular posts you can schedule Reels, Stories and multi-image carousels ahead, and the system publishes them automatically at the time you set.
What is the character limit for Instagram in Posty?
An Instagram caption can be up to 2 200 characters, and can include up to 30 hashtags. The Posty editor shows you where you are as you type.
How many Instagram posts can I schedule at once?
There is no upper limit. In calendar view you can plan a full month of content in one sitting, mixing posts, Reels and Stories.
Does Posty write captions for my Instagram posts with AI?
No. Posty has no copywriter, because your own AI tool writes the copy: ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes and Muse write and schedule the posts directly into the Posty calendar over MCP or the public API. You review them before they go out.
Does Posty have an Instagram API?
Yes. The public REST API (api.posty.hu) is part of the Pro, Kreátor and Csapat plans, so you can schedule Instagram posts from your own code too. Those same plans include the MCP server for AI agents. We're still working on the command-line tool.
Is there a free trial for Instagram scheduling?
Yes, every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. We ask for a card to start the trial, but we don't charge anything during it. After that the Alap plan is available from 4 990 Ft a month, and you can cancel anytime.
Can I see which of my posts did well?
Yes. Posty analytics shows each account the platform's own metrics, so you can see what works on your Instagram. This part is still in beta.
