What a plug is
A plug is an automation that monitors a post after publication and takes another action when a condition is met. For now, the condition is always the same: the post reaches a set number of likes.
You turn on plugs separately for each channel under Automations in the left-hand menu.
Two types of plugs

Turning plugs on

Plugstab is available on every plan. - 2Choose the channel and the plugTurn on the plug separately for each channel, since the right threshold will vary between channels.
- 3Set the thresholdPick a number your posts actually reach. If it's too high, the plug will never run.
When it runs
The plug does not monitor the post in real time. Once the post is published, it checks it every six hours, up to three times. If the threshold is not met during those roughly eighteen hours, the plug will not run after that.
This is intentional: an automation that kept monitoring indefinitely would act on a post weeks later, after it was no longer relevant.
Where plugs are available
Plugs are available on platforms that provide access to a post's like count: X, LinkedIn company pages, Bluesky and Threads. On other channels, the Plugs tab remains empty. This is not an error.
