Kép és videó a bejegyzésben
Média beszúrása, alt szöveg, borítókép, és a bejegyzésből indítható kép- és videószerkesztő.
Adding media
The Insert Media button in the editor toolbar opens the media library. Choose an existing item or upload a new one. The selected item is added to the section you are currently editing.
The media library stores each image separately from your posts, so you can reuse it in multiple posts. See the Media library page for details.
Formats and sizes
| Type | Formats | Maximum size |
|---|---|---|
| Image | JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, AVIF, BMP, TIFF | 10 MB |
| Video | MP4 | 1 GB |
You can use the quick tools to convert HEIC images from an iPhone to JPG.
Platform requirements
The limits above are Posty's. Platforms may set additional requirements, such as making media mandatory or specifying a minimum resolution, aspect ratio, or video length. If a platform rejects the media, the post enters an error state and the error message explains why.
- Instagram and TikTok: you cannot post without media.
- YouTube: one video and a title are required.
- Pinterest: one image or video and a board are required.
- X and Bluesky: up to four images or one video.
The exact requirements for each platform are listed in the Platforms section.
Alt text and cover image
- Alt text: a text description of the image for accessibility. Some platforms require it, and it improves reach everywhere. Describe what is shown in the image in one sentence.
- Video cover image: choose a frame from the video to display before playback.
You can set both using the media item's gear button, either in the library or in the post.
Editing media from a post
The Design Media and Video studio buttons in the editor toolbar let you edit media directly from the post. When you are done, one click adds the result where you launched the editor. Both are available on the Pro plan and above.
The editing tools are listed on the Media library and editors page.
