Amit a Posty ma nem tud, és amiről jobb előre tudni, mint menet közben rájönni.
Product limits
| What it can't do | What to do instead |
|---|---|
| There is no approval workflow: no approver role and no "blocked until approved" status. | Use a draft and a public preview link. See the Share for approval page. |
| We don't generate text or images. | Connect your own assistant via MCP. See the AI generation page. |
| There's no social inbox: we don't handle comments or messages. | Reply directly on the platform. |
| We can't delete a post from the platform once it's published. | Delete it directly from the platform. |
| We don't automatically retry a post that fails to publish. | Fix the issue, then schedule it again. An automatic retry would run into the same error. |
| You can't merge two accounts yourself. | Contact us. See the Activation and login page. |
Platform limits
These limits come from the platforms, not Posty. We can't bypass them, and anyone claiming otherwise will eventually get your account banned.
- Connecting a channel is a manual step. The platform requires consent from a person, so neither the API nor an agent can connect a channel on your behalf.
- On Facebook, you can only post to a Page, not to a personal timeline.
- TikTok UPLOAD mode does not publish. The media goes to the user's inbox, where they must finish publishing it manually within 24 hours.
- Statistics are measured by the platform and arrive with a delay. Some metrics are only available for business or creator accounts.
- Character limits can differ by account type, so the editor shows the value that applies to the connected account.
UI limits
- There's no drag-and-drop rescheduling on mobile. You can still change the scheduled time by opening the post.
- The full image studio is only available in desktop view. Quick image tools are available on mobile.
- The video editor runs in the browser, so it won't launch in older browsers.
- The editor does not auto-save. For longer text, save it as a draft.
API limits
- The programmatic interfaces, meaning the API, CLI, and MCP, are available on the Pro plan and above. Lower plans don't even show the option to create a key.
- An API key has the same permissions as its owner. If the owner is demoted or removed, the key's access changes immediately to match.
- Each endpoint has its own rate limit. See the Errors and limits page.
- Dates are always returned in UTC and must be provided in UTC. The
posty-clialso accepts local time, but only when a time zone is specified.
